I see fast ferry and freight boats regularly moving up and down the river
carrying people and cargo of all kinds.

Along the river I see walking paths such as THE BATT TO BEAR TRAIL -from the Battery to Bear Mountain.
Since 1984 I have been plugging the idea of a HUDSON RIVER SHORE TRAIL.

    I hope to see energy-guzzling single-family sprawls
    converted into efficient concentrated towns
    surrounded by parks and farms,
towns where one can walk to a bank or grocery store and take a train to NYC or the mountains..
